The Archival Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Archive of Una-Sana Canton in Bihać are proud organizers of the 2^nd Congress of the Archivists of Bosnia and Herzegovina (with international participation), which will take place in Bihać, June 5-7, 2013.

Organizers’ intention is that the Congress, as the most important gathering of archivists in a state, be used as an opportunity to discuss all pertinent professional, organizational and status matters; problems and challenges the archives, keepers of the archival materials as unique cultural heritage, come across in the modern society. Considering all the various challenges we face, Congress organizers have set the main topic as mentioned. Furthermore, it is our desire that as many of our colleagues as possible present their views, experiences and professional results.

We hereby invite you to participate in the 2^nd Congress of the Archivists of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and sign up for the presentation on the topics stated. Application should contain: first and last names of the author, name and seat of the institution, title of the work, keywords, abstract (up to 15 lines of text). Deadline for application is March 30, 2013. Applications can be sent by mail or email, to the following address:

Full text of the presentation should be delivered by May 15, 2013, to the above stated address. All works will be published in the Collection of the works from the 2^nd Congress of the Archivists of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

2^nd Congress of the Archivists of Bosnia and Herzegovina will take place in Bihać, at “Park” hotel, situated in city’s centre.

Prices are on person-per-day basis, and there is no surcharge for single rooms.

Participation fee is 100 KM or 50€.
